Each player has nine pieces. Take turns putting one on an empty point.
Three of yours on a drawn line is a mill. Close a mill and take one of theirs. A piece sitting in a mill stays, unless every one of theirs is in a mill.
After all nine are down, slide one piece along a line to the next empty point. Swipe the piece to that point. Tapping the piece, then the point, still works.
With only three pieces left, you may jump to any empty point. Swipe the piece there.
Against the computer, or online, call odd or even, then both sides pick 1 to 6. The winner of the toss places the first piece. Online, the host calls and each phone picks its own number. On one device, enter both names and pick who starts. The two pieces are dealt at random.
