Choose Tigers 3 In hand 15 Caught 0 / 5

Place the goats, then take turns.

How to play

  1. Three tigers start on the small triangle at the top. That is the whole tiger side: never fewer, never more.
  2. Fifteen goats is the maximum. They enter one at a time, on an empty point. They cannot slide until all fifteen are on the board.
  3. After each goat is placed, one tiger moves. A tiger steps along a line to the next empty point, or jumps one goat to the empty point just beyond it. The goat leaves. A tiger cannot jump another tiger, cannot jump two goats, and cannot turn a corner.
  4. Tigers can catch a goat from the first turn. One catch per turn. Catching is a choice, not a duty.
  5. Tigers win at five catches. That is the minimum that ends the hunt. Eating every goat is the longer family version, and it is not required here.
  6. Goats win when all three tigers have no step and no jump. If the goats themselves have no step, they pass and the tigers move again.
